De La Salle Middle School

Our Mission

De La Salle Middle School at La Salle Academy, is a Catholic, independent, co-educational, college preparatory school for grades 6-8, provides a rigorous and holistic education to students of diverse backgrounds, with special concern for the working class and the poor, faithful to St. John Baptist de La Salle’s enduring ideals of faith, service, and community.
Our Foundation

At De La Salle Middle School, we rely on 4 core principles that guide all that we do.
Respect for a Diverse Community
At the heart of our education mission is serving the needs of young people of all cultures, races, creeds and religions. De La Salle students grow in respect, knowledge and appreciation for the diversity of our changing world.

Enriching the Whole Student
De La Salle offers a curriculum instilled in values of faith and service while creating opportunities for students to explore their interests and take risks beyond the school day- to explore athletics, the arts and extras that lead to the discovery of new talents and pastimes.
Academic Excellence
We are first and foremost an academic institution dedicated to the education of young men and women at a range of learning levels.  We focus on an experiential and interactive learning that promotes opportunities for students to excel at a faster pace or move with ease in subjects they need more time to master. DLS students advance and graduate high school ready.

Lasallian Education
At the heart of our mission is a call to service of others. We reinforce this ideal each day in our efforts to instill values of faith and Christian service work in our students and school community.
La Salle Academy is a high school rich in history and grounded in the person and teachings of Jesus and the Catholic faith, which are core to the school's life and culture. The De La Salle Middle School provides a strong holistic foundation for students to transition into high school. The high school and middle school provide students of diverse ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds, a community to foster growth in the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s ideals of faith, service, and community.
