LSA INTERCULTURAL NIGHT

On Thursday evening, April 26, the Student Diversity Committee ran a very successful and well-attended Intercultural Night in the Student Dining Room.  Some 200 people attended (students, student families, teachers and administrators, some with their families) the 2 hour student organized and directed program.  Students from the Diversity Committee and their families brought foodstuffs from their native countries.  During the evening there was student entertainment (dance, musical performance and poetry, with some community groups that have La Salle students as members also joining in) and student testimony--many of them were touching!

The evening culminated an Intercultural Week of student led prayers, videos, and a dress down day (an opportunity for students to wear their native clothing or something emblematic of their culture).

The Diversity Committee is moderated by Mr. Patrick Kavanagh.
