REGO SETS STATE RECORD IN THE 1500 METERS
La Salle Junior Eliza Rego set a Rhode Island state record in the 1500 meter run Tuesday night at the PCTA. Rego's time of 4:34.30 beat Westerly's Samantha Gawrych's time of 4:34.78 from 2003.
