Senior Holly Scott, Sophomore Bryan Lemos, and Freshman Meaghan Rickard were all named to the Providence Journal's All-State teams in Ice Hockey, Scott and Rickard to the Girls team, and Lemos on the Boys team.
For Holly Scott, the ProJo said, "Scott earned her second straight first-team All-State honor as she led the Rams drive to their first major girls state title with her sensational effort in net. The MVP of the state championship series, she only allowed 16 goals in 568 minutes of play during the regular season. She posted two shutouts in the best-of-three state title series. In five playoff games, she registered a 1.2 goals against average. She finished the season with an overall .947 save percentage."
For Rickard, they said, "The newest star on the girls hockey scene, Rickard’s offensive performance played a major role in La Salle winning the school’s first major girls state hockey title. She was La Salle’s top scorer and second in scoring in the Emma Division with 17 goals and 11 assists. She finished the season with 33 points overall, including four points in the three games of the state title series. It was her two goals that led La Salle to a 4-0 victory in the first game of the title series."
ProJo said of Lemos, "Lemos' speed and quickness made him a scoring threat every time he touched the puck. He was La Salle’s leading scorer in both the 18-game regular season and the Rams' 23 overall games. He had 13 goals and 15 assists during the regular season and collected 38 points overall. One of his most valuable assets was always being on the ice. Despite extensive ice time, he was only called for four penalties."
