La Salle grad Hannah McDonald ’10 will be in London, England for the 2012 Summer Olympics as a result of her acceptance into NBC-TV’s Olympic Intern Program.
Hannah is a sophomore at Syracuse University, S.I. Newhouse School as a Broadcast and Digital Journalism major. While in London for five weeks next summer, she will be supporting the broadcast and production of NBC’s 2012 Olympic coverage.
Her acceptance into the NBC program followed an application and interview process for Syracuse students of academic excellence and with experience in communications studies.

Hannah was recognized for her enthusiasm, reliability and skill by Syracuse professors and NBC representatives with the offer of this internship for academic credit.
Since her start at Syracuse in August 2010, Hannah has been a Newhouse School Dean’s List student, an Inductee into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, a reporter and anchor for the CitrusTV News Station (Syracuse University) and a Social Media Intern for @TrendyProblems.
