Normand Dubois '65: Student and Faculty Member

We received a nice note from Normand Dubois saying,  “I was in the class of 1965 and you may know that I returned to La Salle to join the faculty 1969 -1990.  I was a teacher of Biology and various science courses and also served as assistant band director for 14 of those wonderful years.”

Norm also asked us to pass along a couple of things.

“The first is that my wife and I retired from the Warwick Public Schools in December.  Barbara served for over 30 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist in several schools in the district.  I taught Biology and General Science and also served as Science Department Head at Aldrich Junior High School and Pilgrim High School.

The second is about a picture (attached) that was taken on one of my most memorable days.  Three of my students from the Class of 1974 paid me an incredible tribute ... I was their guest, front row, on the "Green Monsta."  Left to right are Andrew Koropey, M.D., me, Paul Dascoli, and Michael Isabella.  “Doc” is an anesthesiologist with Anesthesia Associates Of Massachusetts in Boston, Paul is Vice president and CFO for VF Jeanswear in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Michael is Assistant Professor of Automotive Technology at New England Institute of Technology.  Barbara and I had them as well as Bob and Pat Lisi over for supper the evening before the game.  We had a wonderful time reminiscing and catching up.”
