La Salle Academy senior Lindsey Bucci, 17, of Scituate, Rhode Island has been selected as Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2011 by a panel of judges in the Official State Preliminaries Of MISS TEEN USA ®
Lindsey is the daughter of Thomas and Linda Bucci and the sister to her fraternal twin Amanda who also attends La Salle Academy.
Lindsey has achieved academic Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Lindsey is the daughter of Thomas and Linda Bucci and the sister to her fraternal twin Amanda who also attends La Salle Academy.
Lindsey has achieved academic Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Lindsey has been a competitive gymnast for twelve years at the Ocean State School of Gymnastics, and has been an important component to the La Salle Academy girls Gymnastics team. The team has won three consecutive State Championships since her freshman year. During Lindsey’s sophomore year participating on this team, La Salle was titled New England Champions as well. Lindsey also enjoys baking, exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lindsey wishes to attend college in the fall in hopes of becoming a Nurse or Physician’s Assistant. During this year as Miss Rhode Island Teen USA she aspires to shape the young minds of teens that are inspired to follow in her footsteps and serve as a positive role model. Along this exciting journey, she would also like to learn more about herself and how she can serve her state with her unique traits and special talents.
“After many years of working in pageants, we feel confident that Lindsey Bucci will be a great representative for the state of Rhode Island,” said State Directors Cynthia Provost and Deborah Miller. “We know she will make us proud as she goes on to compete for the title of Miss Teen USA 2011 in the spring.”
Throughout the event, all of the women competed in the categories of Personal Interview, Swimsuit and Evening Gown. The competition was reduced from 30 Delegates to 10 semi-finalists and then to 5 Finalists. Out of the five finalists, Lindsey was then named Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2011
