James Maloney, Class of 1940 and Drum Major of the La Salle Academy band in 1938 contacted us in late May and sent a note and a great photograph of his four grandchildren at St. Luke’s Church in Barrington on May 22, 2010, the day of Catherine Maloney’s confirmation. He also sent a photo of himself from his days as the Drum Major.
In addition to Catherine, a La Salle sophomore, the other grandchildren attending the confirmation were Stephanie Maloney, a religion teacher at La Salle, Megan, a teacher at a Catholic school in Fall River and James who is studying for a Master’s Degree in Business at Providence College.
