Senior To Be Earth Camp Counselor at Alton Jones

La Salle Academy senior Mark Boudreaux, who was awarded “Junior Counselor of the Year” for the 2009 camp season last summer camp, has been hired for the upcoming summer season as an Earth Camp Counselor for the Alton Jones camps that are affiliated with the University of Rhode Island.

 

Mark’s qualifications to work with campers between the ages of nine and 13 include his previous experience as a junior counselor as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Mark has worked with environmental education for several years and is interested in continuing in the area.

Mark’s qualifications to work with campers between the ages of nine and 13 include his previous experience as a junior counselor as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Mark has worked with environmental education for several years and is interested in continuing in the area.

 

He will be required to train in Red Cross CPR and first aid and a two week mandatory training at the Alton Jones camp setting before starting employment.

 

Mark encourages everyone to spread the word about the fun at Alton Jones camps if you have younger siblings or know of young kids that would enjoy a camp setting.  Kids remember the fun that had at summer camp for years after their experience.
