George J. West School Honors La Salle Faculty & Staff Members
The George J. West Elementary School held a Community Partnership Recognition Ceremony June 15 to honor those individuals and institutions for "their dedication and service to the George J. West school community.
Among those honored were La Salle Academy faculty and staff members, Maryann Donohue-Lynch, director of Campus Ministry; Jean Ricci, art teacher; Gregory Albanese, Campus Ministry teacher Brian Brouillard, Fine Arts teacher and Patrick Reilly, Religion teacher.
The George J. West Elementary School held a Community Partnership Recognition Ceremony June 15 to honor those individuals and institutions for "their dedication and service to the George J. West school community.
Welcoming attendees to the school was Prinicpal Rachel Mellion. Presenting the certificates was Kelly Spaziano, assistant principal.
Among those honored were La Salle Academy faculty and staff members, Maryann Donohue-Lynch, director of Campus Ministry; Jean Ricci, art teacher; Gregory Albanese, Campus Ministry teacher; Brian Brouillard, Fine Arts teacher and Patrick Reilly, Religion teacher.
The specific honors were:
Maryann Donohue-Lynch for her overall leaership in bringing service and providing support to the George West School.
Gregory Albanese for arranging for La Salle students to be classroom tutors to the George West students. The tutoring was part of the La Salle Senior Service Program.
Jean Ricci for her leadership in arranging for La Salle Art Club and Lasallian Youth students to paint the hallways and Murals in the school.
Brian Brouillard for bring the La Salle Jazz Band to the school to perform two concerts honoring the West Elementary Honor Society.
Patrick Reilly of La Salle Academy Youth Group for Outstanding Community Service of the George J. West Elementary School"
La Salle Academy is a high school rich in history and grounded in the person and teachings of Jesus and the Catholic faith, which are core to the school's life and culture. The De La Salle Middle School provides a strong holistic foundation for students to transition into high school. The high school and middle school provide students of diverse ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds, a community to foster growth in the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s ideals of faith, service, and community.
