Rams Downed By Hawks at the Dunkin Donuts Center

The Bishop Hendricken Boys Ice Hockey team defeated La Salle 6-4 at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence Thursday night. Neither team played a particularly crisp game, with Hendricken scoring 4 unaswered goals in the second period to pull away.

Neither team played a particularly crisp game, with Hendricken scoring 4 unaswered goals in the second period to pull away. Each team traded goals in the first period to make the 2-2 tie. Stephen Morra tallied both goals for La Salle. The Hawks scored the four goals in the second period before Lee Troot put one home to make it 6-3. John Ryan opened the third period with a goal to make it 6-4, but despite a heavy barrage of shots on the Hawks net, that was as close as they would get.
