BASEBALL, BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK POST WINS

Cameron Croce won three event to lead the Boys Outdoor Track and Field team, while Alexandra Montagano did one better with four wins for the Girls Outdoor Track and Field team as each team won meets on the track at Cimini Stadium. Matt Penkala picked up the win for the Baseball team as they defeated Central High School 7-2 in what was an away game at Cronin Fields.

Croce took firsts in the Shot Put (46'), Discus (114'9"), and the Hammer (169'1"). David Principe, Jr. also won three events in the meet, taking firsts in the 3000, 1500, and 800.

Montagano won the High Jump (5'), 100 meters (12.4), 200 (26.4), and the 4 x 100m relay.

Penkala pitched 5 strong innings to earn the win over Central. The Knights were the home team at La Salle as their field was unavailable.

Both the JV Softball and Freshman Baseball teams also picked up wins on Monday. The JV Softball team defeated West Warwick High School 10-4 at the Wizards' Amby Smith Field. The Freshman Bseball team won at Portsmouth 10-0.
