La Salle Academy, a Catholic, independent, co-educational, college preparatory school
for grades 6 through 12, provides a rigorous and holistic education to students of diverse backgrounds, with special concern for the working class and the poor, faithful to St. John Baptist de La Salle’s enduring ideals of faith, service, and community.
La Salle Academy demonstrates concern for the individual. Each student is provided with opportunities to recognize and develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually in a Catholic environment.
The Academy provides an environment that instills a respect for life-long learning in each of our students. Young people at La Salle become responsible citizens by developing the ability to think critically, logically, and ethically. They learn to communicate effectively, process information efficiently, and utilize technology to enhance their decision-making capabilities.
An essential part of La Salle Academy’s mission is the commitment to the religious formation of our students. Through the integration of religious instruction and experience, students deepen their faith in the person of Jesus and their appreciation of his message. They're guided in their understanding of the biblical imperatives of justice and love; preparing them to live as responsible and moral Christians in the 21st century.
La Salle Academy partners with the families of our student, their first and primary educators. The school creates a welcoming community where students from a variety of socioeconomic, ethnic, and family backgrounds educate one another through mutual understanding, respect, open-minded dialogue, and the acceptance of each person's unique nature and limitations.
Our community fosters growth in the spirit of service, with a particular focus on helping those who are experiencing poverty, prejudice, and injustice.
