    The La Salle Girls Lacrosse team defeated North Kingstown High School 16-13 Friday afternoon at a wet Cimini Stadium to advance to the semifinals of the RIIL Division I Girls Lacrosse Championships. Shelby Boland led the way with five goals while Allyson Desrosiers, Eliza Mahoney, and Liz Garrahy each chipped in with three goals.

  • BASEBALL, BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK POST WINS

    Cameron Croce won three event to lead the Boys Outdoor Track and Field team, while Alexandra Montagano did one better with four wins for the Girls Outdoor Track and Field team as each team won meets on the track at Cimini Stadium. Matt Penkala picked up the win for the Baseball team as they defeated Central High School 7-2 in what was an away game at Cronin Fields.
  • LA SALLE'S ATHLETICS TEAMS HAVE GOOD WEEKEND

    La Salle's Athletic teams enjoyed a mostly positive weekend to begin the Spring season. On Saturday, the Baseball team defeated Johnston High School 5-0 to open their regular season. Over at Conley Stadium, the Girls Outdoor Track and Field team kicked off their campaing by winning the Knights of Columbus' Annual 4 Mile Relay. Friday afternoon saw wins by the Boys Tennis team at East Greenwich, Softball over Bay View, and Freshman Baseball over Bishop Hendricken. The only blemishes on the weekend were the Boys Lacrosse team being upset in overtime by Moses Brown on the Cimini Stadium turf, and the Girls Lacrosse team losing at Moses Brown.

    Lasallian Youth and Young Lasallians came together to assist the homeless----in the spirit of Faith, Community and Service.
  • GIRLS BASKETBALL REPEATS AS STATE CHAMPIONS

    Back in late November, Coach Sean Reddy and his Girls Basketball team started practice with the hopes of having another good season, despite the graduation of so many players from last year's championship team. On Sunday at the Ryan Center, the team completed that mission and then some as they captured the 2017 RIIL Credit Union Girls Basketball State Championship. The team defeated Barrington High School 41 to 33 to win the title.

  • LA SALLE'S COMPETITION CHEER TEAM TAKES RIIL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

    The La Salle Competition Cheerleading team made it a complete sweep of the Rhode Island State Championships by winning the RIIL State Championship Saturday at the PCTA. The Rams captured the Co-Ed Division with a score of 192.75 on their way to becoming the Grand Champions. The RIIL title comes one week after the team won the same two events at the RICCA Championships last weekend.
  • DESROSIERS LEADS LADY RAMS TO THE FINAL FOUR

    Senior Allyson Desrosiers scored 15 points to lead the La Salle Girls Basketball team to a 47-34 win over East Providence High School Saturday at Brown University's Pizzitola Center. The win sends the Lady Rams back to the Ryan Center and a Final Four appearance in the RIIL State Girls Basketball Championships
  • REDDING STARS AS LADY RAMS TAKE THIRD PLACE IN STATE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Madalyn Redding took home two gold medals to lead the La Salle Girls Swimming team to a third place finish in the 2017 Rhode Island Interscholastic League's Girls Swimming State Championships Saturday at Brown University. Redding won the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle races.
  • FALLON, DELBONIS WIN TITLES IN RIIL STATE WRESTLING TOURNEY

    The La Salle Wrestling team had two individual champions in the 2017 Rhode Island Interscholastic League's State Wrestling Championships. Andrew Fallon took home the gold in the 106 lb. class, and Dante Delbonis came out on top in the 195 lb. section. 
  • RAMS SEND THREE WRESTLERS TO STATE SEMIFINALS

    The La Salle Wrestling team had a strong first day of competition as they had three wrestlers advance to the semifinals of the RIIL's State Wrestling Championships. Andrew Fallon at 106 lbs., Justin Gaudiana at 126 lbs., and Dante DelBonis at 195 lbs. all advanced to Saturday's semifinal round at the PCTA in Providence.
  • ST. LAURENT STARS AS LADY RAMS FINISH SECOND IN STATE GYMNASTICS MEET

    Ashley St. Laurent took home the gold medal in the Vault and finished third in the All-Around Competition to lead the La Salle Gymnastics team to a second place finish in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League's State Gymnastics Championships Sunday at Rhode Island College's Murray Center. La Salle finished with 139.325 points, their best total of the year.
  • GIRLS TRACK TEAM WINS 11TH STRAIGHT STATE TITLE

    The La Salle Girls Indoor Track and Field team won their 11th consecutive Rhode Island Interscholastic League State Championship Saturday at the PCTA. The Lady Rams totaled 59 points to outduel second place Portsmouth High School by 5.5 points. Junior Grace Connolly was the only individual; winner for La Salle as she took home the gold in the 3000 meters.
  • PRINCIPE STARS IN BOYS STATE TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Senior David Principe, Jr. made his last indoor track meet in Rhode Island a memorable one by taking home three gold medals in the 2017 Rhode Island Interscholastic League's Boys Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at the PCTA. Principe won the 3000, 1500, and 1000 meter races in convincing fashion, cementing his status as one of the greatest runners in Rhode Island history.
  • McGREEN'S HAT TRICK LEADS RAMS OVER BRONCOS

    The La Salle Boys Ice Hockey team celebrated senior night with a 6-1 win over Burrillville High School Friday night at Levy Rink. Senior Evan McGreen had three goals and an assist to lead the Rams.

    The La Salle Boys and Girls Swimming teams defeated the Prout School Friday night at the Westerly YMCA. The boys had a 48-38 win while the girls scored a 53-41 triumph. Junior Joe Charpentier had two individual wins for the boys, and Junior Madalyn Redding did the same for the girls.

  • ROMAN'S 26 POINTS LEADS RAMS OVER CLASSICAL

    Sophomore Manny Roman had 26 points to lead the La Salle Boys Basketball team to a 69-59 win at Classical High School Thursday night. Juniors Daryl Costa and Marquis Nickerson also hit for double figures with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
  • CAVACO'S DOUBLE-DOUBLE LEADS RAMS OVER NORTH KINGSTOWN

    Senior Brenden Cavaco had 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the La Salle Boys Basketball team to a 57-48 win over North Kingstown High School Thursday night at the MAC.
  • LA SALLE WRESTLERS PIN LOSS ON HENDRICKEN

    The La Salle Wrestling team defeated Bishop Hendricken High School 47-25 Thursday night down in Warwick. The Rams were led by pins from Justin Gaudiana at 126 lbs, Jacob Harrison at 160 lbs, Mason Calise at 195 lbs., and Dane Hanson at 285 lbs.
  • WHEELER'S 22 POINTS LEADS RAMS OVER OAKERS

    Senior Stephan Wheeler scored a game high 22 points to lead the La Salle Boys Basketball team to a 66-57 win at Coventry High School Tuesday night. Juniors Daryl Costa and Marquis Nickerson also scored in double figures to lead the Rams to the road win.
  • LA SALLE SWIMMERS DEFEAT THUNDERBOLTS

    The La Salle Boys and Girls Swim teams both defeated Cranston High School East Tuesday afternoon at the Park View Pool in Cranston. The boys were led by double wins from Joe Lifrak, Jackson McDonough, and Jordan Tripodi, while five different girls had wins in individual events in their meet.
  • RAMS TOP SENTINELS IN BOYS BASKETBALL

    The La Salle Boys Basketball defeated Smithfield High School 52-43 Sunday afternoon in Smithfield. The teams had to wait a day to play due to Saturday's snow storm, but the wait was worth it for the Rams. Junior Marquis Nickerson led the way for La Salle with 18 points.

    LA SALLE RETAINS WALSH TROPHY

    The La Salle Academy Boys' Hockey Team held the trophy through a tie with Bishop Hendricken.
  • LADY RAMS HAND CLIPPERS FIRST DEFEAT

    The La Salle Girls Basketball team went up to Cumberland to face the undefeated Clippers Thursday night, and came home with a 45-31 victory. Junior Christina Kiser led the way with 15 points for the Lady Rams.
