Former La Salle Director of Alumni Affairs Brother Kevin Junk wrote us a note to say that he is alive and well.
“My transfer to Narragansett officially took place this summer and I moved down to the Christian Brothers Center at 635 Ocean Road in Narragansett,” wrote Br. Kevin. “I moved in to the Center at the end of June, and officially began working on August 1. During July I was able to relax a bit, and traveled to the Midwest for a national Brothers meeting/retreat at Lewis University.”

“On the way there, I was fortunate to be able to visit some La Salle alumni in Indianapolis, as well as to spend some time with my parents in Wisconsin, and to visit other relatives in the Midwest. I even got in a little golf,” he continued. “Now I am back “on the job” here at Christian Brothers Center. My position is “Special Projects” and I am working directly for Brother Edmond Precourt here in Narragansett.”
“As expected, I am missing the daily contact with the alumni of La Salle, but Rhode Island is a small state, so I am still managing to visit with a number of alumni when the opportunity presents itself. As you might guess, it is hard to turn around in Rhode Island without graduates of La Salle shaking your hand,” he concluded.
