ERIC SIMONELLI NAMED NEW BOYS BASKETBALL HEAD COACH
On Tuesday, May 15th, La Salle Principal Donald Kavanagh introduced Eric Simonelli as the new Head Coach of the Boys Basketball team. The introduction took place in the Alumni Room of Routheir Hall and was attended by the majority of players from this year's team, as well as other members of the administration and coaching stafff of La Salle.

Brother Michael Mc Kenery, Brother Thomas Gerrow, and Brother Frederick Mueller were joined at the introduction of Coach Simonelli by Vice-Principal Leanne Romani, Asst. Athletic Administrator Rob Riebe, Coaches Sean Reddy and Bob Dillon, Girls Basketball, Vin McGinn, Boys Track and Field, Geoff Marcone, Football and Baseball, and Michael Pare, Boys Basketball.
Coach Simonelli joins the La Salle team after five very successful seasons at the Prout School. Prior to that, he spent two years each at Salve Regina University, Roger Williams University, and Keene State. Coach Simonelli was a 1,000 point scorer both in college and in high school. He graduated from Endicott College and Duxbury High School in Massachusetts
