A vibrant part of life at La Salle, music, drama, dance, visual, and video arts are integral to our academic curriculum and extracurricular programs. We're proud to honor students' creativity, talent, and the transformative impacts of artistic expression.
La Salle Academy offers its students a unique and demanding secondary-school fine and performing arts program. The goal of the program is to empower students to succeed not only on stage, but to provide them with the confidence to excel in many endeavors with the positive self-image developed through participation in the arts.
Our performing arts opportunities include participation in the La Salle Players (our theatre company), La Salle Chorus, La Salle Dance Company, and a number of band and chorus options. Student performances, exhibitions, and publications have won numerous awards across multiple competitions, including international recognition.
Since the fall of 2000, the long tradition of the Arts at La Salle has undergone a renaissance with the opening of the Brother Michael Mc Kenery Arts Center. The school’s art suite includes a fully functioning television studio, photography lab, a 330-seat theatre, a 550-seat auditorium, as well as a music suite for band and a choral space which both include private practice rooms, and a dance studio.

La Salle Academy is a high school rich in history and grounded in the person and teachings of Jesus and the Catholic faith, which are core to the school's life and culture. The De La Salle Middle School provides a strong holistic foundation for students to transition into high school. The high school and middle school provide students of diverse ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds, a community to foster growth in the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s ideals of faith, service, and community.
