LADY RAMS GRIND OUT LAX WIN, ADVANCE TO SEMIFINALS

The La Salle Girls Lacrosse team defeated North Kingstown High School 16-13 Friday afternoon at a wet Cimini Stadium to advance to the semifinals of the RIIL Division I Girls Lacrosse Championships. Shelby Boland led the way with five goals while Allyson Desrosiers, Eliza Mahoney, and Liz Garrahy each chipped in with three goals.

The Lady Rams advance to the semifinals to face Moses Brown Wednesday night at 5:00 pm at Brown University.

Friday night's win continued the hot play of the Lady Rams. On Wednesday, they defeated North Kignstown in overtime to secure their playoff spot.

Also scoring goals for La Salle were Jen Rickard and Celia Parisi. Boland and Garrahy each had two assists and Desrosiers and Mahoney also had an assist.

Alexa Morra had 10 saves in net to secure the win.
