FALLON, DELBONIS WIN TITLES IN RIIL STATE WRESTLING TOURNEY

The La Salle Wrestling team had two individual champions in the 2017 Rhode Island Interscholastic League's State Wrestling Championships. Andrew Fallon took home the gold in the 106 lb. class, and Dante Delbonis came out on top in the 195 lb. section. 

Overall, the team finished in seventh place with 116 points. Cumberalnd High School took the title with 205 points.

Fallon defeated Joziah Fry of Coventry 8-3 to take the title. Delbonis won a thrilling 3-2 decision over Neil Thibadeau of Mt. Hope.

Justin Gaudiana rallied from his semifinal loss to come back and take third place with an 8-1 win over Pilgrim's Andrew Soares.
