Jacob S. Eberson Competes for a Prestigious Scholarship

Jacob S. Eberson, a senior here at La Salle, has been named a semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Jacob will compete against 16,000 other students for one of the 7,500 National Merit Scholarships, worth a total of $31 million, that will be awarded this spring.

With the competition consisting of the brightest students from across the nation, Jacob, the son of Doctors Craig and Denise Eberson, is expected to match up well against fellow competitors. Although his academic prowess is earning him national recognition, it’s his values, character, and natural leadership abilities that make him a source of pride for all who know him.

So, on behalf of the entire La Salle community, congratulations Jacob, and the best of luck in advancing to the finals... and beyond.
