102 STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Over 100 students were inducted into the National Honor Society, Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Students were addressed by Brother Thomas Gerrow, FSC, President, Mr. Donald Kavanagh, Principal, and Mrs. ConiSue King, Director of School Counseling, NHS Chapter Advisor. Abigail Hjort, '19, Rebecca King '19, Emiliano Moreno '19, and Matthew Poirier '19 helped to lead the candle lighting ceremony. The students were then sworn in, and certificates and Junior Book Awards were presented. Fr. Woodhouse concluded the evening with with a Benediction. Congratulations to all the students and parents involved!

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
