Welcome to La Salle Academy. We're Excited to Begin This adventure With You.

The Adventure Begins
We've created this resource to help all new students and families to La Salle Academy.  Please note some of the information that is specific for incoming freshmen.


Students who are transferring into 10th or 11th grade will have a special orientation with the vice-principal before school starts. To make it easier, we'll contact transfer students directly about this information session.

If you have questions about admissions and enrollment, please email our Admissions Office. For questions about financial aid and tuition, please email our Financial Aid Office.

  • Finalize Enrollment

    Have you completed your Enrollment?

    Be sure to log into the BlackBaud portal at www.lasalle-academy.org/login to indicate your Candidate Decision. 

    Complete your deposit.   

    You will be notified when your enrollment contract is available for you to sign digitally through your portal. 


    Your final step is to sign up for your FACTS payment plan for tuition.  FACTS Tuition Payment Sign Up
  • Arts Elective Verification

    For Freshmen Only:  All La Salle freshmen are automatically enrolled in the Intro to the Arts class where they will experience a variety of the fine and performing arts electives offered at La Salle. 

    However, students can elect to join the La Salle Band or Chorus for their Art Elective.

    Complete the following form if you play or have played an instrument or are interested in joining the chorus.  Arts Elective Form

  • Athletics

    All student athletes should begin the registration process before the school year begins.  Registration can be completed online. Athletics Registration Click Here

    All student athletes must complete an assumption of risk form and have it notarized.  We will mail you a hard copy or you can print it here.  Assumption of Risk Form

    All student athletes registering for Athletics must have a current physical examination on file.  More information regarding submitting your physical will be included in the "La Salle Nurse - Medical Paperwork" button below.  
     
    All Athletes should complete the Athletics Interest Form.  This will allow us to contact you with important information about events taking place over the summer and get you in contact with your future coaches and teams.

  • Bring Your Own Device Policy

    La Salle Academy has a “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) program. Every student is required to have some form of mobile learning device.   The purpose is to enhance our curriculum by providing students with a form of direct classroom interaction through the use of technology. This allows teachers to continue to seamlessly integrate technology into the curriculum while allowing students the freedom to interact with content in a multitude of ways. 
     
    Technology Readiness for Students
    Digital Citizenship has been implemented into the curriculum to help students understand how to use technology appropriately.  Freshmen will receive a more in depth exploration during their Freshman year.
     
    General Device Requirements
    • 7 inch display minimum
    • Battery Life of 4-5 hours (minimum)
    • Must be able to connect to La Salle Academy’s wireless network
    • No Phones

    La Salle cannot be a purchasing agent for any devices. Each family needs to have their own warranties and receipts for any device.

    Popular devices among students:  Apple Laptops, PC Laptops, Chromebooks, Surface tablets, iPads, Android tablets.

    The main goal of any device is that the student is comfortable with the device and it allows the student to be productive.  In addition, the device should be able to easily access the Google Suite of services.  If you have any questions, please contact asanga@lasalle-academy.org
  • Calculator Policy

    All students are required to have a TI-Nspire graphing calculator for their math class. The Nspire will be used in other core math courses, in science classes, and in many of the math electives offered at La Salle.

  • School Uniforms

    La Salle school uniforms are available for purchase online through Flynn O’Hara.  

    Flynn O'Hara will be scheduling "Virtual Fittings" to help you get the perfect size before ordering.

  • Log In to Your La Salle Email

    Please allow one week processing time after you have submitted your enrollment deposit before your email is created.

    1.  Go to Gmail.com
    2.  Your username has been created for you and is in the following format:
    • Your first initial + full last name + class graduation year + @lasalle-academy.org
    • EXAMPLE:
      John Smith, class of ‘25 = jsmith25@lasalle-academy.org
    • Students entering 10th grade use 24
    • Students entering 11th grade use 23
    3.  Use the following as your initial password
    • If you are entering 9th grade use password: student25
      If you are entering 10th grade use password: student24
      If you are entering 11th grade use password: student23


    4.  Complete the process
    • Google will give you instructions to set-up your account and change your password.
    • Remember your password.

  • Summer Reading - 2021

  • Textbooks

    La Salle distributes textbooks for students from Providence, East Providence, Warwick and North Kingstown. 

    Students from all other Rhode Island towns and cities must contact their local school district to borrow textbooks.  For a list of your School District contacts click here.

    To determine which textbooks to reserve you must first get your course selection.  Please see the "Course Selection" button below.  Once you receive your course selection we advise you contact your school districts ASAP to minimize confusion or issues.  
  • Transportation

    La Salle offers a variety of transportation options.  A list of the towns and cities that offer free public bussing and contact information for private bussing.  Click here for all of your transportation options
  • World Language Selection

    La Salle offers world language credit in Spanish, French, and Italian.  Please be sure to specify which language you would like included on your schedules by completing the World Language Form

    If you are a native speaker or have taken advanced studies in one of the world languages offered, please connect with our World Language Department Chair, Mrs. DiMascio at mdimascio@lasalle-academy.org, to arrange for a higher level placement in your language of choice.

  • Course Schedules

    We are in the process of creating your unique course schedule.  We will email you when it is available with instructions on how to access it and where to direct any questions you may have.  

    Once you have your course schedule contact your local school district ASAP to arrange for your textbooks. See the textbook button above for more information.  

    If you are from East Providence, Providence, North Kingstown or Warwick, La Salle will arrange for your textbooks and you do not need to complete this step.  
  • Math Summer Work

    Math summer work is based on the math course you are enrolled in for the Fall.  Once you receive your assignments, any inquiries may be directed to Ashley Placido, Math Department Chair, at aplacido@lasalle-academy.org.

    If your Course Schedule reflects placement in Geometry .1/.2/.2B/.3, review the following letter for your summer work instructions.

  • My School Bucks - Lunch Prepay Program

    To create an account you need your student ID number which will become available on your course schedule.
  • Textbook Order

DO IT BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS - AUGUST

  • Class T-Shirt

    All incoming freshmen will receive a class T-shirt.  We will request your size digitally.
  • Club and Activity Review

    An updated club and activity list will be made available before the start of the school year.  Consider joining one of our many outstanding clubs and organizations to enhance your La Salle experience.  
  • La Salle Nurse - Medical Paperwork

    All La Salle students must have a current (within one year) physical on file with our school nurse.  Information on how to submit these documents will be emailed to you from our Nurse's Office. 

    This physical will also be used in the Athletics Registration process.   

    In addition, the school nurse will provide forms for students who need access to medication during the school day, as well as a consent form for the administration of Tylenol.
  • School Year Calendar

    We will release our complete school year calendar in early August.
  • Spirit Day Sign Up

    All incoming freshmen are invited to a special Spirit Day on the La Salle Campus.  This will occur before the formal on-campus orientation.  It will be a day filled with fun and activities, where you will meet new classmates, teachers, and staff.   We will email you the dates and sign-up form in early August. 
  • Student Handbook Contract

    All La Salle students must review the La Salle Student Handbook.  Once you have completed reading the handbook, all students and parents must consent to the rules of our community and sign off on the Student and Parent Handbook Contract.  
  • Student Portraits

    Information about your school photo and order forms will be made available in August.  Dates for student photos and packages for purchase will be included in that information.
