Enriching our community.
Part of La Salle Academy's mission is to “educate young men and women of diverse backgrounds.” While welcoming international students furthers our work, their attendance also enriches the lives and experiences of other students, host families, and the entire La Salle community.

Lasallian institutions are located in over 80 countries. As part of this global network, Providence's La Salle Academy prides itself on the inclusion of students from around the world. We feel it's a great opportunity for students from different countries and cultures to learn from one another.

International Students

Take the first step.
La Salle works hard to enroll international students who are both qualified and dedicated. We accomplish this by partnering with reputable and supportive agencies.

Students applying from China or Korea must contact:
Other potential international students should contact:
  • Brian Ciccone, admissions counselor.
*La Salle processes and maintains all I-20's for international students. An I-20 form is only issued to students who have been offered admission.

Host Families

What does a host family do?
Along with many other things, they provide:

  • A caring, stable home.
  • Transportation for school and events.
  • Help to adjust and to find success in the community.
Getting support.
La Salle Academy works with GP Homestay to provide a safe and healthy place for international students to live while studying abroad.

Their team offers:
  • Host family training.
  • 24-7 emergency support.
  • Regular group activities for host families.
What Now?
The answer to that question is up to you. Submit an inquiry to start the process of becoming a host family, take a moment to learn more about GP Homestay, or do both.
