GIRLS AND BOYS LACROSSE TEAMS SCORE BIG WINS

The Girls and Boys Lacrosse teams both scored early and often on their way to wins Wednesday night. The boys team defeated Bishop Hendricken High School 16-7 at Cimini Stadium, while the girls team was defeating North Kingstown High School 18-11 down in North Kingstown. Matt Manown and Peter DeSimone each scored four goals in the win over Hendricken. Maggie Pressler paced the girls team with five goals.

Matt Manown added five assists to his four goals. Joe Manown contributed three goals of his own, and Dylan O'Donnell added two goals. Alex Handanyan, Matt Fox, and Rob Vessella also found the back of the net for the Rams. Matt Andres had 10 saves in net.

Pressler had four assists to go along with her four goals. Taylor Peltier and Allie Desrosiers had three goals each, while Mallory Johnson and Katherine Dolan each had two.  Madeline Mahoney, Shelby Boland, and Katherine Garrahy also scored. Molly Kelly contributed three assists, and Mackenzie Duffy had nine saves in net.
