Bob Bellemore Retires From PC

Bob Bellemore ’59 sent a note saying that he recently retired from Providence College where he began his more than two decade career as the assistant coach of men's ice hockey in 1968 and finished as women's ice hockey assistant at the end of the 2011-2012 season.

From 1987 thru 1991, Bob was a goalie coach/scout for the New Jersey Devils. 
He was  inducted into the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Hall of Fame in May and received the Assistant Coach of the Year Award in women's ice hockey at the national convention of the American Hockey Coaches Association in Naples, Florida in April.

Next spring Bob will be inducted into the Connecticut Men's Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame. He played for the Raybestos Cardinals of Stratford, Connecticut where the team won three National Championships and Bob was named All American twice.
