RAMS EXPLOSIVE IN WIN OVER THUNDERBOLTS

Junior Leroy DeOliveira rumbled his way to four touchdowns to lead the La Salle Football team to a 56-18 win over Cranston East at a rauscous Cimini Stadium. DeOliveira rushed for touchdowns of 14, 60, 16 and 40 yards.

The Rams scored early and often in the win . Leroy DeOliveira scored his first two touchdowns before East had run more than a half dozen plays.

Sam Coleman scored on a 36 yard pass from Andrew Wright. Owen Smith caught a 30 yard pass from Rayven DeOliveira. Wright hooked up with Marquis Nickerson on a 65 yard pass play. Wright also had a 1 yard touchdown run.

The defense was tenascious. Michael A'Vant had two interceptions, and Jermaine Monteiro and Andrew Wallace harassed the Thunderbolts all night.
