BOYS LACROSSE TAKES STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN

The La Salle Boys Lacrosse team defeated the Moses Brown School 7-1 Monday night to capture the RIIL Boys Lacrosse State Championship. The 2016 team was the fifth consecutive La Salle Boys Lacrosse team to take the championship.

Junior Drew Edwards led the way with five goals, and was awarded the Most Valuable Player trophy for his efforts. Like all of Coach Steve O'Donnell's teams, however, this was a team effort. The leadership of Co-Captains Mike Dignan and Matt Manown kept the team focused throughout the season.
