GOVERNOR RAIMONDO HONORS GIRLS STATE HOCKEY CHAMPS

The La Salle Girls Ice Hockey team was honored by Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo today at the State House. The state champion Lady Rams were honored along with Providence College's NCAA Champion Mens Hockey team.

La Salle Seniors Allison Bernier, Amanda Blackmar, Cailin Catarina, Emily Coughlin, Tessa Fielding, and Michaela McNamara, along with Coach Sean McNamara, were given citations from Governor Raimondo, a member of the Class of 1989 from La Salle.

The girls also had their pictures taken with the Providence College team. PC's Schneider Arena had very lucky ice this year. The La Salle Girls Ice Hockey team, along with the boys team which also won a state championship this year, all practice at Schneider Arena.
